hey ppl... it's time for me again to share about my gain in youth meetings :)
anyway, for today's youth meetings, we were split into the brothers' group and the sisters' group... to discuss some sensitive issues concerning either brothers or sisters... wonder what did the brothers shared... hmm...
oh well, shall share a little on what i touched the most during the discussion... what strikes me most is the verse which i raised questions about...
1 timothy 2:15 -> Nevertheless she will be saved in child bearing if they continue in faith, love, and holiness, with self-control.
well, sis shu fang shared with us that "child-bearing" has 2 different meanings: one is the process of giving birth to the baby and the other meaning refers to bringing up the child... which kinda means that child-bearing is a whole life process (wow!). then why does she (referring to woman as a whole) needs to be saved from child-bearing? Genesis 2:16 -> To the woman He said: "I will greatly multiply your sorrow and your conception; in pain you shall bring forth children; your desire shall be for your husband, and he shall rule over you"
as a result of Eve deceiving Adam into eating the fruit of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, all women as a result will have to suffer the pain from labouring her children and have headache over the ruling of her children. Therefore, if both husband and wife exercises unto godliness with faith, love and holiness with self-control, then the woman will not have a hard time giving birth to her kids and raising them up... because God blesses the couple since they pursue him fervently... so cool right?? haha...
anyway, this portion once again serve me as a reminder that as long as we pursue the Lord fervently, he will not shortchange us but will instead bless us abundantly. Amen.
so ppl, if u want to have an 'easier' time with your kids, you know what to do... haha...
Oh, and one more point which mildly struck me... that in whatever we do, under normal conditions that your husband is not some great time villian, we must let the men to have authority over us and if we found anything wrong that the men did, we must tell him nicely in love (to kindly correct him and to edify one another la...), not to tell him in a command manner because Adam was first formed. I Amen to that too :))

haha... now on to more funny stuff...
After meeting, me, jingfang, shina, lilian, faith and xinghui went to velocity @ novena square to go to haagen dias (is this how u spell?!) to eat ice-cream. Then halfway while we were eating, xinghui saw sis xinyun and starts to waves at her 'radiantly'. However, at the same time, there was this guy waiter who walked passed our table, and jingfang and faith thought that she was waving to the waiter and had a shock in their lives... haha... it was so funny can... everyone of us laughed like mad la... thinking that she was trying to catch the waiter's attention.... if i m not wrong, the waiter did waved back to her right? [too bad i didn't catch that though... so sad... :( ]
but anyway, after they got clear of the situation, they started laughing like crazy... like for so long can?? then ppl around us must have thought how come got this bunch of siao zha bos laughing madly... oh and then sis xinyun and sis serene also came to know about it and started giggling... haha... what a funny misunderstanding.... hahaahahahaa....
well... guess i shall stop here.... dun wanna bore you too much with my long entries... haha.... hope to blog soon :)
