well... yesterday was my mum's birthday :) I was almost unable to celebrate her birthday with her because when i had reached home, it was almost 730pm. On top of that, i need to rush to complete my group GP essay before 8... imagine that ppl! What a tight schedule right? lol... anyway, i had actually finished my part at about 11pm... which i think is so unproductive la... sianz...
But just before i finished writing my essay, i managed to give my mummy a pleasant surprise for her day...
After i came out from my bath (bathed at about 10... when i finally allowed myself for 15 mins break... prior to that, mummy was very angry with me about doing the essay so long and not eating and bathing), i have decided to celebrate her birthday before continuing my work... so while my mum was in the dinning room eating vegetables, i quickly went into the kitchen, took out the cake and on the stove to light up the candle (via the stove). But alas! my mum was 'alerted' and went in to see what had happened... then she saw the cake and was quite surprised to see it there. I was kind of taken aback when she came in cos i couldn't hide the cake in time but well... never mind. I then lit up the candle, brought the cake to the dinning table, sang her a birthday song and the procedure goes on until she blows the candle and cuts the cake.
I am quite glad that my mother likes the cake and the thoughts that i had put in... although i bought the cake hastily, it was definitely not a wasted effort. I could see that it really brighten her day... Thank God :)

Today, my class, s36 and s61 went on an excursion trip to the Asian Civilisation Museum... Yay... slack day :P
But honestly, i think that it's quite cool for Mr Young's class to have such an activity going on... finally learning things beyond classrooms... haha... But i don't really know how to appreciate the art pieces shown there... i guess that art is really in the eye of the beholder sia...
Later the day, we went to delta to support the hockey girls in their finals against sajc... the score was 1-0 and vjc won :)) But the sad thing is while me and my classmates were out there buying some snacks and drinks, the girls scored the one and only goal...
ahh... too bad for me... but seriously, vj hockey girls are imba sia... they looked really very pro with all the swivering attacks and cool 'fake moves'. Overall, a nice game :)
well, gtg now... tmr my brother will be back from his camp in pahang. malaysia. guess my entries from now on will be quite little alr... sigh... enjoy my posts while they are coming...
