Well, here's a video that I've found in YouTube for "Shout to the Lord" since I can't get imeem to play the full song due to some copyright thing.
I still prefer the one that I have uploaded... but who cares :p And amazingly, the American Idol finalists also sang this song during the show... But the My Jesus My Saviour line/verse is not sung out... which is quite sad... Anyway, Enjoy :)

title: Back from Bahau
Whee... Hello people :) I'm back from Bahau but down with flu/sore throat/ lots of phlegm.
Anyway, during these 3 days in Bahau, got to know more of the saints better, especially the Long family. Also, Hannah and I got to play with Joel and Zion a lot too :P On top of that, I am glad that I was there to go visit the Church there and to take a look at how's their condition.
Well, although they weren't as strong as those in Stuttgart and maybe in Singapore, at least there were a few faithful ones who were still there attending the meetings. So dear saints who are reading this post, pleasePleasePLEASE pray more for them and cause the Church in Bahau to continue to grow and prosper and love God more and to be grounded in the truth. Just like what Psalm 122 mentions: Pray for the peace in Jerusalem... Peace within your walls and Prosperity within your gates. Let us love one another for the sake of our Lord ya?
In addition, the Church in Bahau is now pursuing on the Book of Exodus and when we were there, we read chapters 23-25. One point which the Lord revealed to me through these chapters was that our God is a precise God. In chapter 25, we can see that the LORD gave specific measurements and the design of the ark, the table and the lampstand. This once again reminded me that our God is very particular when it comes to things for His temple. Even more so now, when we come before Him to serve His Body, the Church, we also need the LORD to show us the precise way to serve and do it according to His way and not our own way. On top of that, I was also reminded of the fact that the LORD is very faithful with His promise, He will do what He had said and swore to Israel: being precise and specific with what He says and what He does. This can be clearly seen everywhere in the bible, from the blessings that Israel received when they obey His commandments to the prophecies that our Lord Jesus Chirst has fulfilled. Praise the LORD for His precision and His faithfulness towards us!
In my opinion, I feel that Church visiting is really a very wonderful thing to do as we can go around showing care and concern to our dear brothers and sisters, and also to strengthen each other when we are weak. Hopefully in the future when I have time, I can go and visit more churches and experience the 'universal' church life.
I did not bring a camera for this time's round trip so when Hannah has sent me the photos and uploaded it, I will put up the link on my blog for all to see :)
Lastly, I shall end this with a verse- Exodus 25:8
"And let them make Me a sanctuary, that I may dwell among them"

title: Heehee... Some Inspiration :p
Haha... 性情大发,so i've decided to type out the lyrics of my first song that was inspired from the verse in the bible -> Psalm 17:8.
"Keep me as the apple of Your eye; Hide me under the shadow of Your wings"
I was so attracted and it struck me much when I saw the verse's first line: Keep me as the apple of Your eye. Haha... maybe cos I was reminded of yong'en (because she likes to call herself as apple in the past... is it now as such??) and also that it's also the only verse that the word "apple" is mentioned? LOL! But more importantly, this verse shows forth the desire of the psalmist to remain favourable before God... Just like how you and I would like to be before God eh? So here goes nothing ;)
Keep me as the apple of Your eye Hide me in the shadow of Your wings Because in You I put my trust For You the Light of my life
Make my path right before Your sight Let my heart be pure towards my God Because in You I've placed my trust For You are the Rock My Horn of Salvation
Heehee... 小女献丑了!Well, as i'm not too good with my english/grammer/verb, the song's a short, sweet and is sung in a quite a cheerful tune. Hope you guys out there will enjoy this little creation of mine :)
All glory and praise be to GOD!!!!

title: I'm Back once again
hey you people out there... I'm finally back here blogging once again ;) Well, I'm so sorry for taking such a long break from blogging... I've been kind of busy for the past few weeks...
Well, in summary, this has what's been happening in my life.. after I'm back from Stuttgart.
For the past 3 weeks, I've been on a part-time job as an admin assistant once again in CapitaLand... under the Marcom department (ok, so my unemployed status on my profile was not updated back then but since I'm off now... heehee, saves me the hassle to change it back :P). My working experience there has been pretty pleasant, not as demanding as my previous part-time job :) But for some reason, I realise that the people there do not like eating meals with part-time staff... although among themselves, they are rather close. Something which i cant figure out... but never mind. Nevertheless, I learnt more stuff throughout my 2.5 weeks there... Got to know MS excel better, using an automated binding machine, and once again dealing with customers regarding privileged parking. lol...
Also during this period, I am quite glad and thankful that I am able and have the time to attend prayer meetings, home meetings and even truth edification meetings. These are the meetings that I've hardly, almost not at all, attend. But I thank God that after the Stuttgart trip, it really inspired me to attend these meetings because I realised that for my Chirstian walk to be more solid, I need to interact and meet more with the saints. Anyway, when we enter into the millennium kingdom or new heaven and new earth, all of us have to live together in oneness... so I said to myself, why not start learning now?? On top of that, if you look at the Song of Ascents from Psalm 120-134, most of the psalms were directed more for Israel as a whole, rather than for an individual. Therefore, we can see that in order to move upwards with God, we as an individual cannot do so by our own self. Rather we need to move upwards as an entire entity together and in oneness and through attending more meetings, each of the meetings will help all of us to get use to the corporate life that we will be living in, in future. I really thank God that while I am still having and in my nice honeymoon holiday, I can draw closer with Him through meetings with the saints. Hopefully, when school starts for me, I will still be able to continue attending meetings like now that I do.
Speaking about school, I am still undecided as to which uni course I should accept... NUS Science or NTU Chemistry and Biological Chemistry. Although I am more or less decided which course I want to accept, there's still this undecisiveness in me... Don't know why?? But anyway, after looking through the modules that both unis offer me (btw, I should be going also for chemistry in NUS if nothing goes wrong), I kind of liked NTU's course better because it's slightly more towards biology, whereas NUS science is really the chemistry type of chemistry, which I realise is not the type of course that I will be interested in. Haha, guess I'm still quite passionate about biology but yet not so passionate about it. LOL! Oh, and if I do get into NTU, will anyone be interested to bunk in with me? Pls contact me if you would like to. Restricted to females only (like duh right :P).
Haha, last but not the least, my near to future plans for the coming 2 months at least. I'll be away to Bahau from 17-19 May... Yay, church visiting! My first time... wonder how it would be....hmmm...
Afterwards (and actually now), I will be busy with YYP conference, doing preparations and also serving audio, but will also enjoy the whole conference from 1-4 June. Haha on top of that I will be serving and in charge of the admin stuff for the Children's camp from 11-13 June.. "We are Children of Light", that's the theme of this year's camp. This is the time of the year that I really enjoy myself... in addition to the greater responsibility for this particular year.
Haha, and to end off my post, let me share something from the Word of God in Psalm 120:3-4...
"What shall be given to you, Or what shall be done to you, You false tongue? Sharp arrows of the warrior With coals of the broom tree!"
In order to deal with our tongue so as not to speak things which does not edify the Church and our non believing friends around us, we need sharp arrows of the warrior (i.e. the Word of God) and coals of the broom tree (i.e. judgment from the LORD to purify our tongue). May this be an encouragement for all to come before the Lord for He is the Solution to keep our tongues a fountain of blessing! Amen.
