Whee... Hello people :) I'm back from Bahau but down with flu/sore throat/ lots of phlegm.
Anyway, during these 3 days in Bahau, got to know more of the saints better, especially the Long family. Also, Hannah and I got to play with Joel and Zion a lot too :P On top of that, I am glad that I was there to go visit the Church there and to take a look at how's their condition.
Well, although they weren't as strong as those in Stuttgart and maybe in Singapore, at least there were a few faithful ones who were still there attending the meetings. So dear saints who are reading this post,
please Please PLEASE pray more for them and cause the Church in Bahau to continue to grow and prosper and love God more and to be grounded in the truth. Just like what Psalm 122 mentions: Pray for the peace in Jerusalem... Peace within your walls and Prosperity within your gates. Let us love one another for the sake of our Lord ya?
In addition, the Church in Bahau is now pursuing on the Book of Exodus and when we were there, we read chapters 23-25. One point which the Lord revealed to me through these chapters was that our God is a precise God. In chapter 25, we can see that the LORD gave specific measurements and the design of the ark, the table and the lampstand. This once again reminded me that our God is very particular when it comes to things for His temple. Even more so now, when we come before Him to serve His Body, the Church, we also need the LORD to show us the precise way to serve and do it according to His way and not our own way. On top of that, I was also reminded of the fact that the LORD is very faithful with His promise, He will do what He had said and swore to Israel: being precise and specific with what He says and what He does. This can be clearly seen everywhere in the bible, from the blessings that Israel received when they obey His commandments to the prophecies that our Lord Jesus Chirst has fulfilled. Praise the LORD for His precision and His faithfulness towards us!
In my opinion, I feel that Church visiting is really a very wonderful thing to do as we can go around showing care and concern to our dear brothers and sisters, and also to strengthen each other when we are weak. Hopefully in the future when I have time, I can go and visit more churches and experience the 'universal' church life.
I did not bring a camera for this time's round trip so when Hannah has sent me the photos and uploaded it, I will put up the link on my blog for all to see :)
Lastly, I shall end this with a verse- Exodus 25:8
"And let them make Me a sanctuary, that
I may dwell among them"
