Hi people!
I'm so so sorry for not updating my blog for such a long long time... Hmm... was rather busy with Hall 2 acapella practices, facebook games, and more recently being busy preparing for my final exam of my year 1 semester 2 modules... and I hereby declare that I'm officially done with my exams yesterday!! Woohoo... But at the same time I felt quite sad because this kind of marks the end of my first year in NTU, and I would have to move out of my beloved hostel and xiaofei (my roommate) would have to go back to China already...
And so, before xiaofei leaves Singapore today, the people from hall 2 acapella went to Chinatown for a KTV session yesterday (the shop's name is called 10 dollars KTV i think...). But well, in the end it turns out that only wenhan, kau sang, xiaofei and myself were able to make it for the KTV session... the rest either were still having papers then or had last minute appointment so can't make it. Anyway, yesterday was a rather subtlely crazy day for me... let me list them down... hehe....
1. Woke up rather early to prepare for my last exam paper module : CBC122
2. Went out to Chinatown to eat dinner and sing KTV with wenhan, kau sang, and xiaofei
3. Sang KTV for 5 hours... and halfway through singing I lost my voice... but after an hour of rest i think, my voice came back and i continue singing again :)
4. Ate Macdonalds for supper at 12+ am after singing with the 3 of them
5. Walked to Fullerton Hotel, Victoria Concert Hall from Chinatown after supper.. We were busy taking photos on the way there... and with the statues near the Bank of China (and xiaofei's camera proved to me that I've got shaky hands... I
DON'T HAVE DON'T WANT TO HAVE SHAKY HANDS!! :(( )
6. We went into Fullerton Hotel to take photos... but i guess because we were too late the toilets at the basement level was locked.. too bad kau sang and xiaofei weren't able to see how the hotel's toilet looked like... lol...
7. Went up to ADM rooftop to watch the stars and chit chat a little with xiaofei and kau sang at 3am in the morning until about 430am before we go back to the hostel to sleep (and no, we didn't walk back to NTU... we obviously had to cab back to our hostel)
crazy enough? I thought it was quite mad for me already...
Yup, so my day yesterday was super long because it lasted until 430am or so... and it quite cooling outside NTU when we went out at about 3am... there was a thin layer of mist surrounding us while dews were forming on the grass patches (which i think it's cool because I never got to see that... always thought that it was due to rain in the night that the grass was wet in the morning... -_-)
And while we were having dinner at Maxwell food center yesterday, xiaofei was teaching kau sang to speak Shandong province's dialect... and he got so caught up with learning that he was always repeating the same sentences that xiaofei had taught him, with many errors and jokes popping up in between... it was quite hilarious listening to him while eating.. LOL... and in the end wenhan also kena influenced by him too... so much so for the 'serious' learning by kau sang... hahaha...
Hmm... and to think 5 hours of singing session seems long to me... before we all knew it, it's over... and like wow... i've called a lot of songs that I've liked last night though... so do the rest too... but like short changed xiaofei because she only sang for a few songs while the rest of us just kept requesting for lots of songs... but she said she wanted to only listen to us singing... so ok lor... But all in all, we all enjoyed the session a lot... Haha and I really enjoyed it too because it's been a long long while that I could just sing songs that I like, that my friends liked and enjoy the songs sung in the presence of them...
Haha... and I like finally went up to the ADM rooftop to gaze at the stars... after i kept on telling xiaofei about how I always wanted to go up to the ADM grass-patched rooftop to see stars since the semester started this year. But sadly there were only 3 super bright stars that I saw then (ok, i did see other stars too... but i had to block out the light from the ADM building in order to see them... Too bright already... haha :P) Nevertheless, at least my wish came through on the last night of my stay at NTU Hall 2 hostel... because there is no guarantee that I'll be able to have a hostel for my next academic year.. and let alone in Hall 2... :( But i'll just trust God in this matter because I've entrusted it to Him.... and to experience His leading through this matter! Praise the Lord :D
And so... my hostel life in Hall 2 ended today with both xiaofei and myself checking out of our beloved 1-2-3 at 11am... bringing the fond memories that we have back together with us... Hopefully xiaofei is able to manage her 4 luagges in Hong Kong while she travels there... Lord Jesus, may You continue to keep watch over xiaofei and cause her to be able to 'survive' in Hong Kong with her luggages....

University Year 1 life just ended like that...
BUT BUT...
There're more things to look forward to during my 3 months break...
Well, at least the first things that I need to do is to unpack my things that i've brought back from my hostel... Do some 'spring cleaning' for my room now that there are more stuff in my room now :S... Prepare for Children's camp and Youth and Young People's conference! Attend Youth and Young People's conference! Serve in Children's camp! Go for driving lessons! Find part time job(s)! and more... hehe...

LOL... But I'll still try my very best to blog as soon as certain events in my life happen so that I can remember them... and more importantly the lessons that God want to learn through them...
