title: Dueteronomy 10:12-22
Dueteronomy 10:12-22 --12 "And now, Israel, what does the LORD your God require of you, but to
fear the LORD your God, to walk in all His ways and to love Him, to serve the LORD your God with all your heart and with all your soul,
13 "
and to keep the commandments of the LORD and His statutes which I command you today for your good?
14 "Indeed heaven and the highest heavens belong to the LORD your God, also the earth with all that is in it.
15 "The LORD delighted only in your fathers, to love them; and He chose their descendants after them, you above all peoples, as it is this day.
16 "Therefore
circumcise the foreskin of your heart, and be stiff-necked no longer.
17 "For the LORD your God is God of gods and Lord of lords, the great God, mighty and awesome, who shows no partiality nor takes a bribe.
18 "He administers justice for the fatherless and the widow, and loves the stranger, giving him food and clothing.
19 "Therefore love the stranger, for you were strangers in the land of Egypt.
20 "You shall
fear the LORD your God; you shall serve Him, and to Him you shall hold fast, and take oaths in His name.
21 "He is your praise, and He is your God, who has done for you these great and awesome things which your eyes have seen.
22 "Your fathers went down to Egypt with seventy persons, and now the LORD your God has made you as the stars of heaven in multitude."
Amen. These are the verses which I kind of enjoyed during my morning watch today... Throughout Deuteronomy chapter 10, and even 11, Moses kept on reminding the Israelites to fear the LORD, to serve Him with all their hearts and souls, and more importantly to love Him... So shall these be my reminder too :)

title: A once-in-a-blue-moon post
Hello everyone... I'm so sorry that I haven't been posting up a blog for a long long time... :S Was kind of busy in the recent weeks... with all the test coming up all of a sudden... then was also a little busy with hall2 acapella practices... and of course, not to forget spending time going to meetings - prayer, home, yyp, truth edification, Lord's table... which I never regret spending so much time on them...
But anyway, since I'm a little free to do some blogging... (although I have a physics test coming up tomorrow... but shall do that later :P) Haha... I shall blog about the campus pursue in NTU today then :)
There was Bro. Bok Woon, Bro. Kok Yong, Jason and myself. Sze Lang has an interview then so she can't join us :( But anyway, we were reading John 16. We saw much light and revelation through this chapter... Like how when our Lord came to this Earth, whatever that He does is not from His own thoughts, will, and authority... But everything came from the Father... whatever the Father says, the Lord just speak it and do it... And likewise when our Lord has ascended into heaven to intercede for us, He sends the Holy Spirit to be with us... and whatever that the Holy Spirit tells or reveals to us, it is from our Lord Jesus Christ... Some similarity between the way how our triune God 'functions' eh?? But ultimately, all glory belongs to the Father... because all inspirations and speakings flows from Him... Praise the Lord!
Through John 16, we also saw the different functions/purposes of the Holy Spirit:
1. Helper from the Lord for us.
2. Convict the world of sin, of righteousness, of judgment.
3. Guide us into all truth - not according to His own authority, but whatever that He hears from our Lord He will speak.
4. Tells us things to come.
5. Glorify the Lord Jesus Christ
Haha... Guess all of us had a deeper and better understanding of what and how the Holy Spirit does in us :) Really thank God for such a wonderful speaking to us all for the pursue :) All glory and praise be to the Father :D
OK... shall lastly end this post with the song lyrics of a hymn which is currently still playing in my Windows Media playlist:
With my lips I will bless You
With my mouth - I'll sing Your praise
With my eyes - I long to see You
Show me Your face
With my ears - I long to hear You
With my hands - I long to touch You
With all my heart I surrender to You
Let all that is within me; bless Your holy name
Let all that is within me; bless Your holy name

title: Of Believe and Faith
Well, a while ago I was in Home 2 attending the home meeting. Then we fellowshipped on Hebrews chapter 1... because for the next few Lord's Table Meeting, we are going to pursue and have fellowship on the book of Hebrews... Then while we were reading through chapter 1 and late cross reference to chapter 2... We realise that in the beginning when our Lord's salvation was still not available to us, our position before God was lower than the angels... But after we received the Lord, praise the Lord that our standings are now higher than the angels, since in Hebrews 1:14, it mentioned that the angels are ministers serving those who inherit salvation. How wonderful it is that our status have changed before and after we have received salvation from the Lord... This is great!! Loben den HERRN!
But anyway... not much of my main point though... although it's equally important. STILL while the brothers were trying to explain certain things using Hebrews chapter 11 about the 'heros of faith' and as I read on the chapter quickly, this verse caught my eye:
Hebrews 11:6
But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.And while I was reading this verse, another verse came into my mind, which was my memory verse last thursday during NTU's campus pursue... John 14:12
"Most assuredly I say to you, he who believes in me, the works that I do he will do also; and greater works than these he will do, because I go to My Father."So in conclusion... In order to do greater works in God that glorify the Father through our Lord Jesus Christ, we need to believe in Him... that He is our God... and have faith in Him too... that we can please Him and trust that He rewards those who DILIGENTLY seek Him...
Oh Lord Jesus, cause your saints to have more faith and to believe in You Lord... that You are the One who can help us do the works that You do... and even greater ones... And I also thank You Lord that we can please You by having faith in You and that You will reward us if we diligently seek you... So teach dear Lord in our daily living to seek You and to grow more in faith and to believe more in You. Amen.

title: So long my friend...
Well, yesterday while I wanted to use my stapler to staple my notes, it just couldn't produce a staple out of it... and just when I wanted to check if there was anything wrong with it... I pried the stapler and lo and behold... I broke the stapler's spring and everything just fell apart... Below is the autopsy of my 9-year old stapler:

And as you can see... its spring is kind of spoilt a long time ago... But the final blow came yesterday... and anyway, it should finally take its long deserved rest for serving me for so many good long years... I'll miss you, my orangey-yellow stapler... who have served me well in all situations... I'm so proud of you... you did what most mini staplers can't do, i.e. stapling papers on noticeboards...
So long my friend...
