title: Though
Haha! I'm back again once more... Lol!
Anyway, I'm here to share a song that the tertiary group sisters from my church have composed when we were pursuing on the book of Habakkuk. The lyrics written were inspired from Habakkuk 3:17-19.
"Though the fig tree may not blossom, nor fruit be on the vines; though the labour of the olive may fail, and the fields yield no food; though the flock may be cut off from the fold, and there be no herd in the stalls- Yet I will rejoice in the LORD, I will joy in the God of my salvation. The LORD God is my strength; He will make my feet like deer's feet, and He will make me walk on my high hills. To the Chief Musician. With my stringed instruments."From this portion, I am really touched by the optimism of Habakkuk and how he embraced our dear LORD; although he knew that Judah will one day be invaded and be destroyed by the Babylonians. Even though the near future for Habakkuk looks real bleak, he still fully trusted in our LORD and rejoiced in Him because he really understands that his (and mine too!) LORD is his salvation and strength. On top of that, Habakkuk also understood that God is still in control and whatever He does, He does in His own timing according to His big plan which we as humans do not fully comprehend it because we are constrained by space and time.
Ok. Enough said. Here's the lyrics to the song:
Though many things, I may not understand.
What'er befall, I may not comprehend.
I may be weak, cannot reach my peak,
But I'll still rejoice in the Lord!
I will find joy in Him - LORD God of my salvation;
For the Lord, He is my strength.
I'll turn my heart back to Him and say,
I will still be hopeful in the LORD!
Though I am small on this terrestrial ball,
Sin and guilt have many souls made frail;
Trials, temptations caused many hearts to fail,
But I'll still return to the LORD!
I will find joy in Him - LORD God of my salvation;
For the Lord, He is my strength.
I'll turn my heart back to Him and say,
I will still be hopeful in the LORD!Praise the Lord for such a nice song :P The tune to the song is in my playlist. Feel free to listen it more often. Also many thanks to brother bok woon who had helped to record this song :)

title: My 'first' post
Hey people, it's me again :)
Well, the title of this post is may sound rather weird to you all since this is definitely not my first post.. But anyway, it's the first post that I have written using my brand new laptop :D
Hmm. This laptop came at a time that I didn't really expect it to come. It just so happen that I told my parents that I may need a laptop for my university studies like just a week ago and then about 2 to 3 days later, Harvey Norman had a student promotion (which didn't turn out to be a student promotion in the end) on this laptop that I am using and since I found the specs to be rather good so my parents decided to go down to Harvey Norman and take a look. Well, it turns out that this taking a look became a buying session so tada.. Here I am finally with my own laptop :)
Anyway, had some problems with the Internet connection for the past few days (because I tried to plug my desktop's modem into this laptop but it just couldn't connect me to the Internet). Turned out that there was some problem with the IP address and the Ethernet network adapter was somehow inactivated. But anyway, all is currently well now so I'm quite satisfied with this notebook PC :D
[And a note to shiyun, if you happen to see this post: It's a HP laptop (hee hee... compaq actually but who cares it's the same. The specs for this laptop is rather good but may not be too good for your birthday present so... some other time?? (and this model is very common now so not unique) Aiya, get your US laptop first then decide whether you want a upgrade or whatsoever :P]
Oh, and I tried playing with this program on my laptop called "Youcam (webcam)" that uses my webcam to take photos or videos and it has some nice and cool effects which i think it is nice. Here are some photos that I have taken to show you some nice effects :)

Here is me and my 'twin' (mirror image effect)

My grandmother and herself

Watch me eat the light!! Munch munch...
Okie. I will stop as of now. Be back with hopefully more interesting stuffs :D
Praise the Lord! For He is worthy to be praised!!

title: A Trip to Singapore Flyer

Yesterday, my family of 4 went to the Singapore Flyer located somewhere around Marina Bay (is it??). The whole circle of ride takes about 30 mins and honestly speaking, I don't really find the view that nice. But as what mummy says - It's the experience that counts. So yeh.. But then again, it's a nice time for me to take pictures with my daddy and mummy separately. Yesterday was also a record breaking day - our whole family had finally taken a family photo! But we don't have the photo because it was requested by the Singapore Flyer personnel (my brother gerald was kind of forced to take the photo with us) and we have to pay $15(!!) to buy the photo. So the photo taken was equivalent to none. But again as what mummy says - It's the experience that counts. LOL!!
Hmm.. I don't really like describing my experience in words so I will get my pictures to do the job :))

title: A nice hymn...
你们要先求他的国和他的义,
这些东西都要交给你们。
Allelu, alleluja
(okie, so sorry i forgot the chinese version of alleluja :S)Ok, now the english version....
Seek ye first the kingdom of God,
And His righteousness,
And all these things will be given unto you,
Allelu, alleluja
Man shall not live by bread alone,
But by every word,
That proceeds from the mouth of God,
Allelu, alleluja
Ask and it shall be given unto you,
Seek and you will find,
Knock and the door will be opened unto you,
Allelu, alleluja. Haha. Praise the Lord for such a nice and wonderful hymn. Really reminds me once again that we need to seek the Lord first in whatever things that we do - doing His will on Earth and everything that pleases Him. And the reason we live is for our God and our Lord Jesus Chirst.
Hallelujah! Amen!
